Hey guys, HAPPY MONDAY! I know I am normally not excited this time of the week as I do hate Mondays, however this week will be good I just know it. For those of you that don’t know, or follow hockey, there has been an NHL lockout. The season that was supposed to have started in October, did not. Yesterday we found out that the The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association reached agreement on the framework of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. They did not announce the start date of the season or the number of games each team will play, but that it will be announced soon. I am a huge hockey fan so I am just simply ecstatic!!!
As you can imagine, my nails reflect my excitement and team of course!
I used one thin coat of “Milani - white” for underwear for my two coats of “Color Club – Lava Lamp”. The topper is the gorgeous “Lush Lacquer – Salt N’ Pepa” which was also two coats.
For those of you that have not guessed yet, me being from South Jersey and all of the bright orange, black, and white, my team is the Philadelphia Flyers. I got Emi from Emvious Boutique on Etsy to make me this fabulous custom bow.
I have featured some of Emi’s bows on my blog before; I also got a few bows for Christmas from my Mother-in-law from her shop as well that I absolutely love! Emi has a variety of amazingly cute bows and also has custom listings. I got her to make me three different Flyers bows, a while back and I gave one to my girlfriend Gina for Christmas and I kept the other two. Love your nails. That confetti is really pretty on that orange color. I am not a hockey fan, but I am happy for fans like you that they have reached an agreement and the season will start soon. When I was younger and living on the east coast, I would route for the Flyers. Being a Michigan girl now, I have to pull for the Red Wings. Love your hockey fan bow.
