I realised that it has been quite some time since I have done a ‘Eye of the Day’ so today I have some fabulous browns for you along with a step by step tutorial :)

  • Step 1: (After primer – I use Urban Decay primer potion) Using an angle brush dipped in “Urban Decay’s – Snake Bite” I drew along the crease starting from the outside in and stopped about a quarter of the way from the inside crease.
  • Step 2: Using same brush blend as much as you can into the same area. Apply another coat and continue blending until desired darkness is achieved.
  • Step 3: Using an all over shadow brush and “Urban Decays – Bootycall” I then blended above the crease where my brown is, along the lash line under the brown, and on the inner corner and crease where the brown stopped.
  • Step 4: * If desired* Once you blend the tan and brown together you can go back and add a little bit of the “Snake Bite” in the outer corner to darken up that corner again.
  • Step 5: Apply a thin line of liner, I used “Avon Glimmersticks in Cosmic Brown”
  • Step 6: Topped off with mascara, I used “Urban Decay – Super Curl Curling Mascara”

I love your eyes today! Now I am going to have to go on another shopping trip :) I just finally went to Ulta over the weekend to spend my Christmas gift card and finally purchased the products that I loved so much in one of your posts back in Oct. I have never used Urban Decay anything but purchased the shadow, primer and liner. I don’t wear make-up often, but I loved your look and had to write everything down and have been carrying that list in my purse ever since. A gal at the Ulta store was also very helpful and she agreed that Urban Decay has the best products. She had on a lot of make-up (very tasteful though) and I thought she was just coming in to work while I was there around 4:00. She had actually applied her make-up at 8:00 that morning and had not touched it. So I am excited about trying these new products. I purchased a purple shade of shadow, but I love the browns you are wearing today, too.Thank you for all of your helpful tips.

First. I’m jealous of your gorgeous eye color and second I’m jealous your camera can pick up your makeup well. I’m stuck with poop brown eyes and my camera sucks at picking up my makeup unless I go for a clown look. Anywho! I really love your eye look, my favorite go to is this type of nude but still smokey look

You know what I love? I love the diagram you add to show where you apply everything. That’s actually VERY helpful!
    I also think that:
    1. I want to try this and 2. This is very versatile and would work with any two complementing colours/shades.
