Day 5 Blue – 31Challenge

For Day 5 of the Challenge , I used my “OPI Start to Finish Base and Top coat”, My new “China Glaze – Sexy in the City”, my new “Julep – Oscar” and of course my trusty “Nicole by OPI – Drying Drops”

I started off with one coat of the “China Glaze – Sexy in the City” and one Coat of the “Julep – Oscar” on my ring finger

It didn’t need it, but I painted 3 coats of the blue to be sure that when I painted my design over the glitter it would be dark enough. I also ended up with 2 coats of the gold, again not sure that it really needed it.

I had some address labels I just started cutting triangles and funky designs on, i attached them to my finger nail and painted 3 coats over top the gold and peeled off to let dry.. sloowwwwly.

For whatever reason on both of my ring fingers I felt there was a part with too much Gold showing so I just added a couple of dots. 🙂

And here is my finished product for Day 5 of the Nail Challenge, Blue. Hope you enjoyed!

    • They really do! It takes anywhere from aminute to about 5 minutes to fully dry, It really depends on the polish thickness and quality of the the polish. With this polish, my ring finger, two hours later still got a texture, mush to it. but! that’s because, I had a base coat, two coats of gold, 3 coats of blue then a top coat. that’s alot of polish even with thin coats. so it really depends. But honestly, I love them! for every day looks like one -3 coats takes maybe 5 minutes tops on MOST polishes to dry. and you can do anything after. 🙂

  1. I’ve heard mixed reviews about drying drops, but since you seem to recommend them I may have to give them a try. I haaaaate waiting for polish to dry.

    • Definetly let me know what you think as well! I have tried both the OPI’s by Nicole OPI and Sephora OPI not sure if it’s different at all other than bottle and I loved it. I know a few others make them, so for sure let me know what you think!
