Day 14 Flowers – 31Challenge

Friday has finally arrived,I feel like its been forever since I’ve posted.. 😦

The next day of the Challenge is flowers. I chose to do a real flower manicure. I found these beautiful little wild flowers by my work, Veronica.

I painted 2 coats of “Julep – Carrie” as a base before work this morning. I will warn and apologize now, in all of my pictures I have Top Coat and polish on my fingers!! ahh In any event, My husband and I picked fresh flowers on the way home from work today. I painted a little bit of top coat on each nail & pressed the flower down and topped with my “Orly Polymer Top Coat”. I purposely did not make the flowers all centered on my nails, some were in corners, some dead center, off-center etc. I loved doing this unique manicure.

This look was fairly easy, but I will be honest I have never worked with real flowers before, so I am not quite sure how they will ware. I am hoping that the Polymer keeps it well. I will only have the look on my nails for a few days anyway. I have to thank my husband for this awesome and beautiful idea! ❤
