you-nique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lash Review

*These Strips were sent to me for my unbiased review*

Although this is my sister that sent this to me to review she sent it to me knowing I would give my honest review either way, even if she is family. I spend a lot of time researching the best make up so that I don’t buy crap and waste my money. As always I can assure you that this is my unbiased and 100% honest review.

I had ordered the Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes I guess about a year ago now through a friend that was having an online party.  I am a sucker for mascara and I will try anything that says it gives you longer or fuller lashes. Mine are naturally longer just very blond, I love to make my lashes appear fuller and longer without looking fake so I figured let me try this.

The old formula was very messy to say the least. I also was kind of skeptical when the old instructions stated for me to spend almost $30 to then still have to use my own mascara as the base… uh what? IMG_7566

The old instructions were as follows:

  1. Use your mascara
  2. Once dry, apply the Transplanting gel
  3. While still wet apply the fiber lashes
  4. Seal in by applying the transplanting gel again

Not too many steps but still a pain in neck. I’m not gonna lie, I am getting a little older so my beauty routine consists of more than it used to.. I now need concealer for under my eyes for the bags and dark circles, more and more red spots or acne spots, pore concealer for the lines and more visible pores. Using my already $20 mascara then a gel then the fiber lashes then the gel once dry was just too much. I never ended up using it every day. It got used a couple of times and then stayed in my drawer.  It also didn’t help that the case was enormous and hard to keep in my make up bag

All in all my review of the old process, packaging, and formula is as follows:

Pros:

-Does make lashes appear longer and fuller

Cons:

-Time consuming, too many steps

-Messy – I would have fibers fall out on my cheeks while I was applying and later once I blinked throughout the day with them falling off

-Large packaging – not easy to transport with other make up

-Price, too pricey for me to justify if I also have to use my own mascara.

Now, for the NEW formula and NEW packaging!

IMG_7567IMG_7568

This packaging as you can tell is much smaller, the bottles are slightly longer however now they come in this nice pouch instead of an almost eye glass case, making it much easier to transport. Let’s see how the new formula matches up..

My first impression already is that I am much more excited to try these, I love the bottles, I love the smaller bag to travel. I especially love that there is a window to see the product and how much is left! Why didn’t other companies think of this!!

The instructions for the new formula are slightly less annoying and less steps

  1. Apply the transplanting gel
  2. Apply the fiber lashes
  3. Seal again by applying the transplanting gel

Although this is only one less step, it already makes me feel more at ease, if it works because I don’t have to use my own mascara. This product could essentially replace my mascara. Let’s see how it does put to the test.

This is me without mascara

IMG_7595

Again, without mascara IMG_7592

I then applied one coat of the 3D fiber lashes. Transplanting gel, lashes, then gel again. One eye at a time

IMG_7600

Close upIMG_7596

You can already see the fullness that it gives

Here is two coats- Transplanting gel – lashes – transplanting gel – let dry – process once more

IMG_7603

You can see the slight increase in length and fullness

Here’s the close up

IMG_7602

I think that the two coat is more for an evening look or a special event, not time worthy to attempt every day… unless of course you have that kind of time then by all means.. lol

Finally, for a glasses wearer there is nothing worse than doing your make up only for you not to be able to see it through the glasses, that is such an annoyance. I am happy to report that the lashes are full and long still through the frames!

IMG_7609

IMG_7608

Again there was not a huge huge difference in the one to two coats so I am more than certain that with the one coat the lashes would still appear just as long and as full with one coat for us glasses wearers.

Here is a reference of what regular mascara does for my lashes now that you have seen the 3D Fiber lashes

This is an older picture (hence my old watermark) but still the same mascara I wear today

img_12013

As you can see they appear long but not necessarily full at all

Here is a collage of all of the looks

collage

Overall my review of the new and improved younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber lashes is as follows:

Pros:

-Less time needed – by this mascara replacing your mascara rather than being an added step

-More cost effective again not having to use your own mascara first

-Could potentially replace your mascara altogether

-Smaller case making easier to transport

-Much less messy, I didn’t have any fibers fall on my cheeks as I did with the old formula (both immediately and later on in the day)

-The windows on the bottle allow you to see how much you are using and know when it’s empty not like most beauty products.

-Pictures prove makes your lashes truly longer and fuller

Cons:

Honestly I don’t think there are any with the new formula. I was very happy with it

The new formula can be purchased for $29 or if you have an online or in house party you could earn it for free! (See below for Party info)

NAILMATES Review

A few weeks ago I was sent this new product from NAILMATES to try out. There are all sorts of products out there geared toward the removal or easy use of Glitter and/or Gel polish and that’s what this product is. The website lists the product as:

For quick & easy removal of gel polish and nail treatments.

  • Comfortable & REUSABLE
  • Better than foils or soaking dishes
  • Users can QUICKLY & EASILY remove polish from all nails at once
  • Caps & Removal Pads stay in place so user can do other things
  • Pack includes 10 REUSABLE NAILMate caps, 20 removal pads, 1 nail file.

Nail Mates promises no dripping because of their special pad,  it allows for you to do other things while waiting. They also claim to work better than foil because it allows less evaporation with the rubber caps. The caps and pads were specially designed for removing gel polish, however as I don’t use that, I figured it would be perfect for glitter since that’s always a sore subject in the polish world… Glitter Removal ugg!

*This PR product was sent to me for my unbiased review*

20140411-021644

(So I totally stole this picture from Nicole at Polish Me, Please! Be sure to check out her review on these!! – I forgot to take a picture of the bag and applicators while still pretty before I used :/ )

The package comes with the rubber caps and the sponge applicators.

  • You are to simply gently apply NP Remover to the sponges ( damply.. be careful to not soak them )
  • Then place the sponge on your nail and put the cap on your nail, or put the sponge in the cap and put your finger in.

IMG_3293

IMG_3292

I had them on for about 5-10 minutes I was honestly doing other things so I can’t be certain but it was no more than 10 minutes which is about what you would do with foil anyway. Once I removed the caps there was a little to rub off with the sponge but the majority was on the pad! Oh and I must say that I use Non-Acetone for ALL my polish so this may go quicker with Acetone, I know a lot of people use straight Acetone for glitter.

I’m not gonna lie.. I did not think this product would work, so many companies have tried things and have failed but I really liked these. This absolutely allowed me to do other things without feeling like I am going to drip all over like when I do use foil. It did the job for me rather than going through about 20 cotton balls that rip to shreds trying to take of glitter. It made it much easier..

My pads were also not so bad and didn’t harden up like my cotton balls do once I’ve used them; So I can flip them or reuse these a couple of times. I definitely feel this is a product for the Glitter and/or Gel user.

If you wanna try these out for yourself and see what you think, you can purchase them here.

The original Nailmates is $14.00

Removal Pads Refill 30 count is $5.95

and Removal pads refill of 200 is only $14.95

Right now they are running a special too :

20! ADDITIONAL REMOVAL PADS WITH ONLINE PURCHASE! That’s a total of 40 pads

So, is this a big pet peeve for you too, removing gel or glitter? If so, would you try this product or have you already? Let me know what you thought or what you think if you end up trying. 🙂

Well on to my nails for today, this is two coats of ‘China Glaze – Liquid Leather’ and on my index and pinky finger is two coats of ‘Avon – Cosmic’. I then took these black lace stickers that I got from the Born Pretty Store.

These nail art stickers were sent to me to review for my unbiased review

dsc

These stickers are super easy to use and a good price, they are $5.23 There are a couple of different other designs beyond these. They basically just get applied to dry polish and cut to fit, I then applied top coat and voila!

CLEAR Scalp & Hair Therapy Review

For those of you that read my VoxBox post , you saw that I received a shampoo and a conditioner sample of “CLEAR’s (new) Scalp & Hair Therapy Total Care” line. The website says “Formulated with an advanced moisture complex or vitamins and nutrients, gently cleanses and nourishes and helps restore scalp’s natural moisture balance.” The back of  the bottle also reads “Stronger, more beautiful hair in just 7 days” Well it’s been 8 so let’s see how it held up.

What I love:

  • I love that it has somewhat of a fragrance, not an overpowering fragrance, a more mild one. I don’t like products (body and hair) that do not have smells. This is one of those shampoos that leaves your hair smelling light and fresh still at the end of the day, you still smell that “shampoo hair”.
  • I blow dry, then straighten my hair every day for work… I know. Bad, Bad! Some days I go in with wet hair and clip don’t worry… In any event on the days that I do my hair, I use “It’s a 10’s Miracle leave in plus Keratin”  before I straighten. I have very wavy hair and this tames it, without making my hair greasy and helps to soften and tame the frizz as well. I can tell you that while trying this new shampoo/conditioner duo I have not used any products and what a difference, in a good way! It has been over a week now without other products and my hair feels soo silky, smooth, and not frizzy at all.
( you be the judge see the picture below )

Scalp Review:

I was a little bit skeptical at the directions. The directions say to massage the conditioner into your scalp and all throughout your hair. Now I honestly have never read directions to shampoo or conditioner before, to me it’s just one of those things I guess I take for granted. With that being said, I do not know if other conditioners have the same instructions or not. What I do know is that any beauty article that I have read especially for people with greasier hair, they say Not to put all the way up to your scalp, just your tips and middle of hair. This product even though I was massaging all throughout did not make my hair greasy at all. I also felt that my hair felt stronger just in that short time.

What I dislike: None.

Overall: so far in the trial period I would give this product an 8/10, only because sometimes when you test out a product and then buy the product and continue the prolonged use, you may find different results, however I don’t think this is one of those products. My hair was never weak I always had healthy hair, but I still could notice a difference in the strength and the shine using this product.

Where to Purchase: SOAP.com, Walmart, CVS, Drugstore.com, Walgreens, Target, Amazon.com

The price: The price on my VoxBox says $4.99-$5.99 for 12.7oz and 12.9oz bottles. Prices may vary so please check your local listings and above sites.

Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color Review – NOTD 50

For those of you that read my Influenster Vox Box Post yesterday, you saw that I was a lucky Influenster and got picked to receive the Summer 2012 box. In it, I received some awesome products that I just cannot wait to try, but of course the nail polish came first. I got “Sally Hansen’s Magnetic Nail Color in Graphite Gravity”. I have used Layla’s Magneffect product before so I will be comparing it to that a bit and giving you my honest opinion

*Disclaimer: this product was given to me review however the opinions are solely my own.

As with the other Polish brands that have done the Magnetic lines, it comes in many colors, “Golden Conduct, Polar Purple, Silver Elements, Kinetic Copper, Red-y Response, Ionic Indigo, Electric Emerald, and Graphite Gravity”

I also received one of my stamping plates (Hello Kitty) in the mail, that I had ordered last week from Amazon. So I decided to incorporate that also into this look/post.

So, as I said I have tried the Layla Magneffect nail polish and one of the things I liked about the Sally Hansen one was, that the directions differed. The Sally Hansen one wants you to paint a thin coat of polish on all ten nails (or in my case, 8) and let it dry. Then paint a thicker coat one by one, and hold the cap with the magnetic strip over your finger (there is even a little guide for your finger) for 10 seconds and voila you have your magnetic design.

The formula was thick which was to be expected but certainly not a downer, not hard to work with at all, I didn’t think. I liked that it instructed you paint that thin coat first as with the Layla (unless I did it wrong) when you held the magnet cap over the polish, it tended to pull the polish so much to make the design that it looked like you didn’t have polish on in some spots. With the Sally Hansen one I did not have that at all. 😀

Another pleasant surprise was, that the bottle was like a darkish silver color, I thought that when I held the magnet that the design would be white, I was pleased to see that it actually turned black and pulled the silver to make the design. I liked the polish much better that way. There is another color however that looks like it is silver with the whitish design if that is more your style.

I would for sure, purchase this in other colors, especially for the price, it was a great product, was easy to work with, so long as you don’t accidentally hold the magnet too close that it hits the strip and you get a chip. :/ but that is with any polish or magnetic polish.

I painted “Sonia Kashuk’s – Dream of Genie” on my ring fingers for accent. I used “Sinful Colors Blackest Black” for the Hello Kitty Nail Stamp.

Jamberry Removal

Well… Just as I suspected… I couldn’t leave the Jamberry strips on my nails for very long, or at least not as long as they say they are supposed to last. They are said to be able to stay on for roughly 2 weeks on your hands depending on your nail growth. I kept the Jamberry’s on my nails for 6 whole days! I know to some of you that may not sound like long, but they were starting to drive me crazy with boredom. It has nothing to do with the shields themselves, polish drives me to boredom too.

I do however in the meantime for you have a picture of my friend Gina’s toes. She did these on her toes the day that she got them and has had them on for 2 weeks, 4 days and counting. This picture was taken yesterday, and as you can see, even after 2 weeks and 4 days, they are still looking brand new. She loves them!

I pulled the below Removal process right from the Jamberry website

Quick Removal Process:Heat the shields with a blow dryer for 15 seconds. Then break the seal by getting under the edge of the shield with your opposite thumb nail. Slowly peel the shield from side to side. If the Nail Shields are not peeling easily or the adhesive is still bonded to the nail bed then follow the Gentle Removal Process.

Gentle Removal Process: Soak the Nail Shields in nail polish remover for 20-30 seconds and gently rub them off. Soaking will break down the adhesive bond and allow them to easily slide of the nail bed.

Overall in the 6 days that I wore these, I had no lifting, no scuffing, no peeling or cracking. All in all, I think the idea of this product, the way that it works, the way that it’s made, and the designs are just simply fabulous. They are just not made for MY hands. I will do them on my toes shortly as I tend to keep polish on them no problem for easily 2-3 weeks, until I need to do another Pedicure.

If you are Interested in purchasing a set or two of these, please see my Jamberry Shield Post here and here, for prices and shipping info. Once again here is Doreen’s contact info:

Jamberry Application – NOTD 43

Here is the second of third part of my Jamberry stuffs 😀 I did just an overview of the Company and shields, here is the application, and lastly I will review in the weeks to come.

I applied the pink shields with the metallic silver design, first I will show you some tips and instructions and then the final look that is said to last 2-3 weeks 🙂

What you will need: alcohol, paper towel for alcohol, nail buffer, nail file, cuticle pusher, hair dryer, jamberry shields, sandwich baggie, and the included instructions.

Step 1. Clean nails with alcohol. This step is to remove the oils from your nails, it will ensure the best seal.

Step 2: clean and push back cuticles and buff any ridges out of clean nails.

Step 3:  match and size finger or toe to the nail shield that best fits.

Step 4: Cut The nail shield to size. Be sure not to touch the “sticky” side too much as to minimize dirts and oils from your fingers to the stick side.

Step 5: There are two ways of doing this next step; you can either heat the shield first for 10-15 seconds ( or until soft and flexible ) or you can place it in the spot on your nail you want it, then heat. *Also if your blow dryer is as hot as mine, you can hold it out farther for a little longer time.

Step 6: Either heating method you choose, once heated and applied to nail, firmly put pressure around edges to adhere the shield to the nail.  Use cuticle pusher to seal the shield around the cuticle. If necessary repeat step once or twice.

Step 7: After the first heating application, trim the tip with scissors and file off remaining shield using a downward motion to remove the excess piece.

Step 8: Apply heat and pressure to the shield again until it is sealed to the nail. (Repeating this step several times helps create a tight seal to the nail surface and increases wear time).

* There is also a tip with a sandwich baggie. You can take a sandwich baggie and apply it tightly around your nail so that there are no seams or air and apply heat again. The way the nail shields are applied and how they work is with heat and pressure, the sandwich baggie adds that extra seal.

This process took me about 45 minutes. I did not need a top coat and as you read from above you don’t use a base coat, so there is no drying time. In between nails you can be doing things, once it’s sealed, its sealed. It took me a little longer than it probably should as I was really taking my time and this was my first application. After doing some reading I saw similar comments and how it will take less time as you get used to application.

They say that the shields can last 2-3 weeks on hands depending on your nail growth. I honestly don’t know if I will get bored with them before that time is up as I get bored easily,we shall see 🙂

Here are what my nail shields looked like after application. Today is Sunday and I applied them Thursday, so far so good, Stay tuned for the Review 😀

My Jamberry Nail Shields have arrived!

I think I will be taking a break from nail art…. for two weeks that is if my new Jamberry Shields last as long as they say they will!

A Friend of mine’s, Sister is going to be selling the Jamberry Nail Shields and I recently went to a party at her house and bought two sets to try out. I got a Pink with a Silver Metallic design and a Peacock design.

A Little bit about the Company: The company was started by Three Sisters, Christy, Keri, and Lyndsey. The company officially launched October 1, 2010 and was originally formed as a direct to consumer model, however they grew so fast they decided to embark on a home party plan model; which was officially launched in the summer of 2011.

About the Nail Shields: Jamberry Nail Shields are unlike any other Nail Shields today. They are not Nail Laquer like most, so they do not chip, they do not have dry times. They are solid film covering that can be applied directly to the nail to achieve a look also unavailable anywhere else. The special material is both pressure and heat activated to create a water tight bond to your nail.

What I like most about the nail shields so far, is:

  • You do not need a base coat, they are heat activated to apply and to remove, you do not need Nail Polish Remover (although this method can be applied) so this will be better on your nails.
  • You don’t need a Top coat as they are finished with a high gloss protective layer that both prevents the shield from chipping and scuffing as well as making it shiny and appearing as though there is a top coat.
  • The nails are non-toxic and contain no harmful chemicals. They are latex, formaldehyde, as well as, gluten-free. They are never tested on Animals and made in the USA.
  • They are a reasonable price at just $15.00 a set $2.99 Shipping per order on the website. If you were to go to the salon it would cost this just for them to last barely a week.
  • They are said to be able to last on your nails for up to 2-3 weeks on hands and anywhere from 4-6 weeks on your toes.
  • Each sheet comes with enough shields to do 2-3 pedicures, or more if you have small nails 😀

Unfortunately, at this time they are only available for shipment to the US, and APO/AE addresses elsewhere. Doreen has been kind enough to look into what the shipping would be if she were to have the shields shipped to her home and then to you, should any of my International Bloggers be interested. See contact info below 😀

Doreen’s Contact information:

Email:NailShields@hotmail.com

Phone:856-723-0116

On the above website you can place an order and have it shipped directly to your home, if you live within the Shipping Destinations. Please Contact Doreen if you are interested in buying Internationally and she will see if this can be shipped to her home, and then to yours, at your cost.

Julep Penny Sale!

Over at Julep, they are doing another Penny Sale. If you go to JulepMaven.com, create your Beauty Profile, and then in the shopping Cart type in code “COLOR12” your price will go from 19.99 to one penny! I do not know how long this Sale is lasting, so act quick 😀

I had Julep for a while but was disappointed that they sent a few dupes. Apparently you can go in your “My Account” and see what is coming before it ships, and change it up ahead of time, but I wasn’t even getting emails reminding me to do this, who has the time to remember to do that?!

So needless to say, I was drawn in again by the Penny. My first Julep Box was a Penny and I did another two boxes after that at the 19.99 In total. I received a thing of Aragon oil, cuticle oil, which I LOVE, Hand Brightener lotionHand Scrubtwo nail files, a base coat, and a total of 8 polishes (one of which was the dupe that I gave to a friend for her birthday 😀 )

Jamberry Nail Shields

A Friend of mine’s sister is considering being a consultant for this company and is hosting a party at the end of the month that I will be attending.

From what I can gather so far from the website, it’s a company started by three sisters and their design on nail shields. They are $15 a set. (Each set will do 2-3 sets of fingers and toes). These nail shields are unique in application

Here are the application instructions below:

Jamberry Nail Shields are designed to be easily applied in a salon or at home.

Step 1: Clean nails with nail polish remover or alcohol. (Clean, oil free nails are one of the most important steps of the application)

Step 2: Cut and file nails to desired length and shape.

Step 3: Buff top of the nail and push back cuticle.

Step 4: Match nail (finger or toe) to the nail shield that best fits.

Step 5: Peel off nail shield and warm with a blow-dryer 10-15 seconds or until soft and flexible.

Step 6: When warm, press the shield onto the nail.  Apply firm pressure around edges to adhere the shield to the nail.  Use rubber cuticle pusher to seal the shield around the cuticle.

Step 7:  Trim the top with scissors and file off remaining shield using a downward motion to remove excess.

Step 8: Apply heat and pressure to the shield again until it is sealed to the nail. (Repeating this step several times helps create a tight seal to the nail surface and increases wear time)

Optional  Step 9: For active users you can add a small amount of nail glue to the free edge to better seal the nail shield.

How to Remove: Use hair dryer to heat for 15 seconds and slowly peel from the corner of your nail

I kind of feel like this is a lot of steps for a Nail Decal, however they say these are designed to last a lot longer, and from some of the reviews I have read on other sites, they do seem to hold up and are simple to apply. People are raving over them!

They have a lot of different designs, see for yourself here.

Tell me what you think, does this seem like a lot of steps, would you try them, have you already and what did you think?

Come back in a few weeks for a full review when I go to the party to test them out!! 🙂

My First Julep Box

I first learned about Julep Here from a fellow blogger friend. She posted about getting Julep for $1 and I just could not pass it up, I ordered right away!

My box came and thanks to Natasha, it was only $1 this month! Normally it’s $19.99. This month I got “Oscar” which is the gold shown, that I also used when I did my day 5 challenge (see that post) 🙂 and then the red is called “Glenn” and a “Julep – Essential Cuticle Oil” that strengthens nails and softens rough cuticles.

Here are some of the benefits to Julep. let me know what you think if you try it out!

Julep Maven

Check back I will test out Glenn shortly! 🙂

New Polishes!!!

Against the reviews for MBeautylounge.com I decided still to try this website out for myself (becuase I am stubborn like that) My shipment came in today and these are my new lovely color choices:

From left to Right:

OPI – Mermaid Tears (Pirates of the Caribbean Collection)

OPI – Lincoln Park after Dark

OPI – Grape Set Match (Serena Williams Collection

Zoya – Faye

OPI – Honk if you Love OPI

OPI – Planks A lot (Pirates of the Caribbean Collection)

OPI – It’s My Year (Miss Universe Collection)

Unfortunately some people did not have a very good experience with this company but I have to say mine was very pleasant. Prices were good and fairly good turn around time.

I placed my order on 1/25 which was a Wednesday. I received an email from them that Sunday the 29th that my order would be shipping soon and the email also gave me a shipping tracking number. Their website says once they have approved your order they print the shipping label. Should one of your items be back ordered they will attempt to hold your order for up to 14 days to see if it comes back in stock.

Then on Feb 8th my order left their facility and it came today! Everything I ordered was there, and their prices were great. Apparently some people didn’t get all of their items they ordered, the items were replaced with other items they didn’t order or just left out all together, some people didn’t even get their orders. : ( So should you decide to try this site out, proceed with caution. My experience was good as were some others, but remember not all were good.

Anyway! I am extremely excited to try out all my new colors and work with new ideas!

**Update, so I have tested out, “Zoya-Faye” and “OPI – It’s My Year” (Miss Universe Collection) and I have to say I was very upset. The pictures online of both the bottle and painted nails as well as you can see the above pictures, make them appear to be different colors. Yea, not so much. (Pictures to come) but lets just say that both of these colors are almost identical

I have alto tried “OPI – planks a lot” with “OPI – grape set match see that post. “OPI – lincoln park after dark” has its own post now as well as “mermaid tears” the only one i have not tried yet, is “OPI – honk if you love opi” that will also have its own post when ready 🙂

Enjoy!

Birchbox – Beauty Samples

https://www.birchbox.com/ is a $10 a month beauty sample website. Each monthly box gives you 4-5 deluxe samples for your 10 bucks (free shipping).  For a yearly subscription you get a free month, at $110.00

I tried out this site at the 3 month subscription. I logged onto the site today while typing my post, and noticed that at this time they are currently sold out of all boxes…  😦   (Must be a pretty good site huh! Everyone must love it!)  But, you can join the waitlist and they will let you know when more become available.  Trust me if you love samples, you can’t beat it.

One of my favorite things that I received were, a Stila smudge stick waterproof eye liner in a beautiful bronze.  I twisted the eye liner all the way out to see how much was given and it was essentially a full-sized eye liner (value $20) so that in itself was worth my birchbox that month.  This was only 1 out of the 5 items in that months box.

Next month one of the items was a Zoya nail polish that was a beautiful color (wish I could figure out how to post a second picture…) the color was called, Twila.  It’s an Ocean blue with glitter (value $8) again worth my birchbox.

There were a lot of good sample products that I loved in my birchbox subscription, but I don’t want to ruin all the fun of you trying it out yourself. A lot of the fun is not knowing what you are going to get, its like getting a present in the mail every month!

To sign up, you go to the website (when they are not sold out of boxes… sorry guys.) You fill out a beauty profile and then once you pick a package or just a monthly subscription, your all set!  You’ll receive an email each month when your box ships.  Once you get through your shipping material there is a quality cardboard box as shown above with the Birchbox Logo.  Inside your items are nicely wrapped in pink tissue and there is a card labeling what you have received this month in your package.

Each sampled item is available to purchase on their site in full size.

I enjoyed this site and the concept.  Let me know what You think if you decide to check it out!
