The Lacquer Ring – Aztec Nails

Hey there, long time no see. I have a whole folder of un-shown looks for you. Today we delayed our TLR looks from Thursday to now. In honor of Jess whose too busy for us hehe just kidding she works A LOT we did these nails for her this month. 🙂

First I painted Morgan Taylor My Carriage awaits. Once dry I used striping tape and did opposite triangles and filled it in with China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle. Once super dry I did my Aztec stamp using the triangle the opposite side using MoYou’s Pro Collection-02

I then decided I felt like my look needed to be matte, I used OPI’s matte top coat and waited like 975283798273489 hours for it to dry. LOL Does anyone else have this problem? What I did as a trick, and maybe everyone already knows about this, I did a thin layer of my Seche Vite as that is lightening fast, and in about ten minutes just to be sure I used the matte topper. I went to bed about a half hour later and it worked! no sheet marks like every other time I’ve used matte yay!

Pink of Hearts

OPI is back at it with their 8th Annual limited edition Breast Cancer Awareness duo in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

This years set includes a pink entitled Mod About You and this gorgeous pink cream jelly with various pink and white glitters suspended in it entitled The Power of Pink. Stamping Saturday – Bejewled Tiger

I absolutely love this MoYou stamp, I am using it again. I used it a few weeks ago when The Lacquer Ring brought you our first collab post and I did my orange nails . This is two coats of Cirque’s Bejeweled which I absolutely LOVE and I stamped China Glaze’s Liquid Leather with the stamp overtop. I love how the holo shows through it.

NOTD 178 – Featured Color Friday – Indie Hello Kitty

Woohoo It’s finally Friday! I feel like I am so behind this year, I have no decorations up, nothing wrapped, still a few people to buy for, etc. I am usually way more prepared by now. I think it’s that Thanksgiving was so much later, it’s totally throwing me off. I have been working on Saturdays for OT, this Sunday I have a party to go to, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday of next week I have things going on, along with Doctors, etc. mixed in to that, it’s just insane!

Anyway, enough about my crazy schedule and lack of preperation this year, on to this beautiful ILNP pretty that I have been telling you all so much about lately. This is Indie Go by I Love Nail Polish. It’s a gorgeous blue holo with mixed in blue sparkles and subtle color change.

This picture is a little blurry but you can just see the amazing holo/sparkle and slight color change! 🙂

I then stamped my Ice skating Hello Kitty and I took my Milani nail art bottles and filled in some of the stamp. I colored in her headband and scarf pink and added glitter to her skates and her headband for some sparkly detail. 🙂

NOTD 107 – Snow Angel, Shawn

Sundays are the worst day of the week next to Mondays, because they lead up to Mondays, which are horrific… ugh.

Today I have “Zoya – Shawn” and “Lush Lacquer – Snow Angel”. I painted two coats of “Shawn” and then accented with one coat of “Snow Angel” which is a gorgeous gold and white topper by “Lush Lacquer”.

NOTD 106-Featured Color Friday – Charla

Yay! It’s Friday! As promised, I have one of the other Zoyas to share with you, “Charla” I don’t have much to say today, so I will just right on to the gorgeous polish 😀

This next one is kind of blurry but I just loved how sparkly and shimmery it looked 🙂
