NOTD 177 – Nail art Contest – Holiday Decorations

Well guys, we still don’t know who won Week 1 yet ‘Snow’. They have extended the voting in to Wednesday night and they will announce on Thursday. If you have not already voted for week 1, PLEASE do so 🙂 The link can be found here. Remember to type your name, then your email, and finally the drop-down to your favorite (hopefully me) THANK YOU!

Alright guys, moving on to Week 2, As far as I know the voting ends for this on Saturday still unless they extend this, so shoot for it ending Saturday night. Get out and vote for this one too, ASAP. Remember these are two different weeks, so if you voted for Week 1’s Snow mani, please go and vote for Week 2’s Holiday decorations mani!!! 🙂

For this mani, I went with a wreath theme. I used a small brush and painted a wreath, with lights and a glittery bow, all decorations on their own or together, I hope you like it!

I first painted two coats of Deborah Lippman’s – New Flesh, for the wreath, I used Ulta’s Envy. I painted the string of lights although its covered mostly with the lights, using China Glaze’s Liquid Leather. For the light colors, I used Sinful Colors – Happy Ending, Nubar – Lustful Red, Spoiled by Wet N’ Wild – Designated Driver, Ruffian – Foxhunt, and Nina Ultra Pro – Cobalt. The bow was painted using Lustful Red and finally, I painted the glare on the lights using Milani Nail Art Silver glitter, and the middle of the bow.

NOTD 175 – Frosty the SNOWman

HAPPYYYY BIRTHDAYYYY!!!

Remember the Nail art Challenge I told you I was entering, well this is my first entry. (CLICK HERE TO VOTE) (voting ends Saturday the 30th I believe).  The first week’s theme was ‘snow’ I have a thing for snowmen, a lot of my Christmas decorations are snowmen or snow related. Frosty was always one of my favorite Christmas movies as a kid, who am I kidding, even as an adult… 🙂 so it was only fitting that I find a way to incorporate him in to my theme.

NOTD 97 – Birthday nails

Happy Birthday to me!!! As you are reading this right now I am celebrating my Birthday today, i wrote this post when I had a few spare minutes yesterday, somehow I still find the time.. hehehe

Today I have for you a fun new polish I just picked up by the lovely “Lush Lacquer” called “Color me Gray” It’s a jelly gray with all different sizes and color glitters in it. As soon as I saw it swatched and in the bottle, it reminded me of the Pillsbury Funfetti cupcakes, or just a party, so of course I had to use as my Birthday mani

As I said, this color is a jelly, so I used about 3-4 coats, the first coat makes your nails look kind of dirty… lol not quite clear but not gray enough yet, then the 2-3-4 coats make it look more and more gray. It’s gorgeous as is jelly, but next time I might put over a gray base to really enhance it’s beauty, tell me what you think:

So what are your thoughts on this fabulous color?

I am almost done getting together the items for the giveaway so that should be coming soon, again to end in January to tie in my year Blogiversary.

I may be back one more time with a guest blogger before the Holidays, however if I do not, please everyone have a Safe and Happy Holiday!!!!! ❤ to all of you ❤

NOTD 96 – Cheryl

Hey guys! so, I was able to pump out a quick post for you guys today. No giveaway pics yet; working on those goodies still 🙂

Today’s polish (please excuse my nubs) 😦 is called “Cheryl by Zoya” (It also just so happens that both my mom and mom-in-law are both named Cheryl, so added bonus!!) 😀 The Zoya website describes it as: “A smoky brown base completely packed with metallic copper, gold and mahogany metallic microglitter. A jeweled brown for a very rich look!” I agree! My Girlfriend Gina gave me this polish a while back and I had not tried until now, and I LOVE it. see what you think..
