NOTD – Texture polish!!!

You read the title right, I bought some texture polish! I know I know… I have said many times before how I hate texture polishes, it drives me nuts, or would drive me nuts because I refused to buy it, however… I caved and tried it. I bought OPI Alcatraz Rocks, Let Me Go, and Magazine Cover Mouse!

I decided to try Magazine Cover Mouse first for this next Valentine’s Day look, alongside two coats of Zoya’s Barbie topped with OPI’s Minnie Style.

As much as I resisted the texture, this one wasn’t so bad. From what I gather from the rest of you ladies that were braver than I some are more textured than others, and for me this one was perfect, it hasn’t bothered me at all! I love it actually!

NOTD 161 – Featured Color Friday – Prism

Well guys, time for another Featured Color Friday!

This week I am featuring “China Glaze – Prism” along with “NY&Co. – Oceanic”

I painted two coats of Prism on all nails except my pointer, which I painted two coats of Oceanic on topped with Seche. The glitter fingers I then did a stamp using Oceanic and my ‘Pueen25’ stamp. This look is so sparkly under the stamp and it was hard to really capture that. :/

That’s it for my nails, quick post today.. 🙂 Lastly, I will leave you with this cute little bugger I saw on my Butterfly bush the other day…

Picture 106

It’s a Hummingbird Bee… yes that’s right. a Hummingbird Bee! It’s wings were like butterfly wings, yet moved so fast like a Hummingbird and he had a big fat bee body! Craziness!

NOTD4- L’oreal Stroke of Midnight – OPI Drying Drops

I just purchased this color the other day, its “Stroke of Midnight by L’oreal” and I really liked the smoothness of the formula and the shine.

The other product that I tried was “SEPHORA by Opi, Nail colour drying drops” My good friend, Gina let me borrow this to test out and report on!  🙂  It’s an oil that you put 1-2 drops on your nails after 60 seconds of applying top coat. I did my nails last night about two hours before bed and…… NO SHEET MARKS!!! woohoo!

*Update, I went out and Purchased the “Nicole by OPI” Basically same drops as above at my local target and work same, both OPI, I love these drops!! Dries in what seems like 30 seconds to a minute or two, depending on the thickness of the polish and kind of polish! 🙂 LOVE! A++ Thanks Gina for showing me this product!
